Marisa Olivares Rummell is a successful business owner of three manufacturing companies; one in California and two in Texas. These companies manufacture replacement parts for the petrochemical industry offering a wide range of products beginning with compressor rod packing, valves, cups, cases, rings, valve assemblies, plates, pistons, cylinders, rods and rings.


In addition to her business accomplishments, Marisa has made time to be involved in her community. She was the first Chairman of the Founding Board of the Montgomery County Hispanic Chamber. She served in that position since it's inception of March 2003 until March 2006. Marisa was honored with a White House Appointment and is serving a second reappointment to the (NAC) National Advisory Council for the Small Business Administration, one hundred forty-four people are chosen nationwide for this position. She is also serving a six year term on the San Jacinto River Authority, an appointment given to her by Governor Rick Perry. She has been written up in two magazines, Republican Woman, and Conroe Centennial Celebration, as well as many newspaper articles. Two years ago, Marisa became a Charter Member of the Hispanic Lions Club in Conroe, TX and a member of Empresarias Hispanas of The Woodlands.
Marisa has been an active member of the Senatorial Hispanic Task Force, as adviser to Congress on Hispanic issues. She was elected as the Texas State Chairman of the RNHA, and has the distinction of being the ONLY Latina to have been elected vice-president of the Texas Federation of Republican Women in their fifty plus years history. Marisa is President of The Intercultural Education Alliance and is a precinct Chairman in her precinct as she believes it is vital for Hispanics to be involved in the election process. She is a board director for Word Visions Foundation, and a board director for Wildflower USA Publishing Co. Inc., as a Director of Language.
Marisa is Founder and Chairman of The Greater Conroe Latino Chamber of Commerce which she organized in September of 2007. Marisa has been invited several times by the White House to participate in various celebrations such as Cinco De Mayo and Hispanic Heritage month.
Marisa was born in Mexico City, D.F. and resided in Guadalajara, Jalisco, MEX. when she moved to Houston, TX as a child of four. She learned to speak English at the age of five, and was educated at Incarnate Word Academy. She is married and has one son and one daughter.
