AMERICAN TROOPS SUPPORT

This Resolution was written by Marisa Rummel and presented in Washington, D.C. at the 2007 National Convention of the Republican National Hispanic Assembly.

                                               It passed unanimously!

SUPPORT FOR THE TROOPS                     Resolution

WHEREAS, since the beginning of this great nation, we have relied on the strength and courage of our armed forces, and

WHEREAS, this courage is displayed around the world and at home, and

WHEREAS, these brave souls ask for nothing, just support for their efforts, and

WHEREAS, our men and women in uniform sacrifice jobs, time and memories with their families, and

WHEREAS, many have paid the ultimate price with their lives so that we can be free, and

WHEREAS, historic numbers of Hispanics have answered the call to defend this nation, serving honorably, and

WHEREAS, it is due to these fundamental strengths, that America has been able to maintain leadership throughout the globe,

BE IT RESOLVED the Republican National Hispanic Assembly supports, encourages, and salutes our brave men and women in uniform for their bravery and dedication to this great United States of America.
